Hunters Inc: Fertile Ground

Two nights ago, University of Ontonagon’s chapter of Sigma Omega Beta fraternity hosted a bonfire party in an off-trail clearing in the Sylvan Wilds. No one has seen freshman Mariana Santos since. Local authorities and Forest Rangers are holding out hope of finding her alive, but time is of the essence—especially in light of a disturbing discovery near the site of the party, a message written in blood on the trunk of an old-growth pine: I AM REBORN.

Hunters Inc is a stripped-back forged in the dark game by Open Hearth's Jex Thomas, designed for spooky one-shots about teenagers investigating supernatural events. Fertile Ground is a hunt by Open Hearth's Elle, originally for Jex's Bump In The Dark. No rules knowledge is required and all rules will be taught during play.

Subject matter in the game will include teens in peril and possibly harm to teens, and is likely to include some violence. We'll use safety tools including lines and veils, the X card and the open door.

The game will run over Streamyard with short breaks on the hour. If all players are enthusiastic about recording, I will, otherwise the session will not be recorded.

I'll email players a week before the game to confirm attendance, share play materials, etc.
