Thirsty Sword Lesbians: Thirst of Strahd

I'm running genderswapped I6: Ravenloft in Thirsty Sword Lesbians.

This is an experimental game and may or may not resemble the original AD&D adventure after we've had our way with it.

Thirsty Sword Lesbians is a roleplaying game for telling queer stories with friends. If you love angsty disaster lesbians with swords, you have come to the right place.

Under raging stormclouds, a lone figure stands silhouetted against the ancient walls of castle Ravenloft. The Countess Strahd von Zarovich stares down a sheer cliff at the village below. A cold, bitter wind spins dead leaves around her, billowing her cape in the darkness. Lightning splits the clouds overhead, casting stark white light across her. Strahd turns to the sky, revealing the angular muscles of her face and hands. She has a look of power - and of madness. Her once-beautiful face is contorted by a tragedy darker than the night itself. Still hot, though.

Rumbling thunder pounds the castle spires. The wind's howling increases as Strahd turns her gaze back to the village. Far below, yet not beyond her keen eyesight, a party of adventurers has just entered her domain. Strahd's face forms a twisted smile as her dark plan unfolds. She knew they were coming, and she knows why they came - all according to her plan. She, the mistress of Ravenloft, will attend to them.

The game will run for four sessions lasting three hours with breaks as needed. In North America/Europe, this means games will run on November 2, 9, 16, and 23. One spot in the game is reserved. There will be a total of 4 players. If more than three players sign up, I'll run a lottery on the date listed above and notify players of results via email. We'll meet on the Open Hearth Discord for each session, with Zoom as a back-up if needed. Video is optional for players.

Players will be contacted via email approximately a week prior to the game to confirm their attendance.

Safety tools (X-Card, Lines & Veils) will be used. The Open Hearth Code of Conduct (https://openhearthgaming.com/code-of-conduct) will be observed. Flirting and messy romantic situations are part of the game, but sexual violence and sexual contact will be excluded and veiled from the game, respectively. Blood, murder, the undead, etc., are also intrinsic to Ravenloft, but we can up-or down-scale how graphically those are portrayed to fit folks' comfort levels.
