    About

Location: offline round on the 3D6 Con
    Game Master: Miguel @krakentoa
Setting: Planescape, the city of Sigil
Genre: Narrative-driven multiversal romp in an urban setting
Keywords: D&D, Lego, Planescape, Adventure, Narrative, Urban
    Language: English

    Description:
Play D&D while changing the game by adding to the story your own Lego creations!
I will run a creativity and player-driven narrative one-shot for level 5 characters using D&D 5E (pre-2024 rules + TCoE, pre-mades available or send your own in advance), set in the city of Sigil, in the Planescape setting. I will provide players with Lego pieces.

A dangerous thought-concept has escaped the Bureau of Belief Sanitation, making reality malleable - and it's up to the party to contain it!

As a temporary side-effect, the players gain the following ability:

    Belief Echo (3/Short rest):
You may introduce a strange object, environmental feature, or character detail into the world. Alone or jointly with another player, silently build something using LEGO, then use your action to present it. Declare it as either:

    ⚓ Anchor Build

    • Create something symbolic, emotional, or thematic.

    • Other players describe what they think it is.

    • Add +1 Anchor Point to the party’s shared pool.

    • Incorporate the result into your roleplay.

    ✨ Effect Build

    • Create something intended to change reality (e.g., magic item, ward, creature, hazard).

    • Other players describe what they believe it does.

    • Roll a relevant ability check.

    • DC = max(5, 20 - 5 × Anchor Points)

      • Success: The effect manifests.

      • Failure: The concept escapes its definition - resulting in a GM-defined complication.

Anchor points reset at the GM's discretion (some scene changes) and short rests.
Players can also add builds for flavour or decoration at any point, and the GM might weave them into the story.

About me: I have been running D&D for around 5 years now, and regularly play in Wien with the folks at rpgvienna.com. Plus I like LEGO :)
