About
Keep in mind, this game works best when the cast of characters is the same across the whole campaign, so please only sign up if you believe you can commit to most or all sessions. Note that we are skipping the first Saturdays in April and May.
Brindlewood Bay is a storygame about elderly women, members of the Murder Mavens book club, who solve murder mysteries in their coastal New England community. Over the course of the campaign, the Murder Mavens discover an eldritch conspiracy underlying strange events in town. Touchstones include the TV show Murder She Wrote and other mystery shows from the '70s, '80s, and '90s.
The tone of the game ranges from lighthearted and cozy to dark and disturbing.
We will be playing with safety tools, but subject matter includes murder (of all varieties), threats to animals and children, ritual magic, and human sacrifice.
