    Star Wars: Pathways is a story game in playtest set in the Star Wars verse during the time of the Clone Wars. It's about a group of interconnected lives on a journey of discovery of setting and selves. There may not be much if any combat. There will be a fair amount of shared generation and control of narration. There may be contemplative moments between wonder and fear while exploring new worlds.

    New Horizons of the Galaxy

    We’re aboard an exploration starship, approaching a distant new world our sensors detected. Though we’ve spent most of the trip in stasis, our arrival is imminent, and we need to learn how to understand and interact with it and any life discovered.

    Consular-class space cruiser, Republic frigate (repurposed)

    1. Assigned by ExplorCorps (Jedi and Republic) for exploration of worlds, with mechanized maintenance and military protection.

    2. Mission to survey distant worlds beyond the Republic’s charts.

    3. Send Messenger Pod back to Coruscant when mission is complete.

    HOW DO WE DEFINE OUR SPACE?

    • The Wall: Boundary between Explored and Unexplored Space.

    • The Gate: Messenger Pod (sent back to Coruscant).

    • Designed to protect itself. Example areas: firing range, brig, armory, mess hall, obstacle course, command bridge, transport bay.

    • Designed to do research. Example areas: laboratory, refrigeration chamber, alien containment bay, sample library, sensor bay.
