Freebooters on the Frontier 2e: Blood of the Serpent King (playtest)

The cult of the Emerald Cobra has plagued the borderlands for generations. A rumor has brought you to the literal doorstep of the cult's secret lair. "Blood of the Serpent King" is a pulp-adventure convention module for DCC that I've converted using Freebooters on the Frontier.

Note: I am a peaceful storygamer at heart. This adventure, however, is not that. Time to kick the door down. Welcome to the jungle, baby.

Freebooters on the Frontier: 2nd Edition is the PbtA “sword and sorcery” game by Jason Lutes (co-author of Perilous Wilds). Expect something similar to Dungeon Crawl Classics, except more lightweight and narrative oriented.

Character Creation: Pregenerated characters will be provided for you. We will learn the rules together; no prework required before our session.

Tech: Face camera strongly preferred, but not required. Discord for voice and video. Google Sheets for character keeper. Owlbear Rodeo for maps and dice rolls.

Content Warnings: Comic-book style fantasy violence, blood, possible death PC characters.
