    About

    This is a playtest!

Moreover, this is the first playtest for this game. That means that there will be rough edges.

The goal of this session is to answer two questions:

    • Can this be a fun game?

    • What parts of the game are the most interesting?

In Dramatis Personae we create a tradition of theater. We'll start by defining the culture in which this tradition was created, the culture where it is currently performed, the characteristics of the plays and how they are performed, the gallery of recurring character types, and one or more typical plots.

Time permitting, we will also sketch out one specific play and perhaps act out parts of a scene or two.

As the title suggests, for this first test we will create a theater tradition for goblins. (What kind of goblins? That's one of the things we will decide in play.)

No knowledge of theater is required.

Communications tools in use will include Lines & Veils, the X-Card, the Open Door policy, and the Open Hearth Code of Conduct.

The session will be recorded for my personal notes. The video will be shared with the consent of all participants.
