        About

This is intended as a two-session run of TROIKA! A third session is planned as a security buffer in case of spillover or GM illness.
It is a product of the Open Hearth's "Game Request" program.

"Fronds of Benevolence" is an adventure for the tabletop role-playing game Troika! where players are tasked with saving Duke DeCorticus, their friend, ruler, patron, or deity. Duke DeCorticus, a benevolent plant creature, is dying because his vital supply of "rare earths" (also known as "star loam") has been cut off. His survival is crucial, as the Duchy of Plandra, which he governs, is the linchpin of an uneasy truce between various pirate-princelings. Without his stable rule, Plandra could descend into chaos, war, and plunder. The adventure takes the form of a "pointcrawl," guiding players through various locations to find a new source of rare earths and uncover the reason behind the supply cut.

The game uses a layered set of safety tools, among them a layered and anonymous system to ask for consent to record the session. If you're not comfortable with being recorded I wouls still ask you to join the game and make use of that system. I'd rather play with you and not record than record and not play with you.
