Stewpot: Tales from a Fantasy Tavern
Stewpot
1 session
The adventurer’s life is tough. It's time to call it quits. For years you stumbled through hostile lands, living off stale rations, and struggling to get a few hours’ sleep. Now it’s time to hang up your weapons, sell off your armor, and settle down. If only it were that easy... Stewpot: Tales from a Fantasy Tavern is a collection of small games for a group of retired adventurers. Each game lets you play out different parts of running a tavern and settling down in a town together with your old adventuring party. You'll be scrambling to cook something edible with random ingredients, bartending for troubled souls, calming down a tavern brawl, going shopping for all the things a tavern needs, and more in a variety of slice-of-life scenes! Please bring a character you have played in a previous adventure or campaign (can be any setting) that you think is now retired and wanting to help run a tavern. If you can't think of any characters that work well for this we can always make a new one on the spot! We'll be using Lines & Veils, Open door policy, and Stewpot's Breaks & Holds system. (the latter is basically the same as the X-Card so maybe we'll use that for sake of consistency) Content warnings: cute slice of life scenes and anything you could find in a fantasy tavern.

Pasión de las Pasiones - The Inheritance of the Father
Pasión de las Pasiones
1 session
What is this game? Pasión de las Pasiones is a game of passion, drama, secrets, delights, and heated conflict. In Pasión de las Pasiones, you and your friends will play out the stories of the greatest telenovela ever to air! You won’t be playing the actors, directors, or camera crew; instead, you’ll be playing characters like El Gemelo, scheming and dangerous, or like La Empleada, innocent character and striving for love. You’ll play through stories with dramatic reveals, explosive confrontations, faked deaths, and more! What will we be playing? We will be playing a custom scenario with the working title "The Inheritance of the Father." Think "Knives Out" but without the detective/mystery elements. Pure family drama. An old wealthy father has invited the family to his ranch to celebrate his birthday. This is the opportunity to get into his good graces and secure their place in his will. Who will walk away with the biggest share? Which alliances will be forged? And which betrayal will cause lasting damage? Come play and find out! What can you expect? A fast paced, player driven game. Every scene will have twists upon twists and it will truly be a dazzling experience. If you have ever watched a Turkish Soap Opera or a Latin Telenovela and thought "I'd wanna play that!" this is the game for you! Safety We'll rely on the X-card safety tool and we'll discuss our Lines & Veils before play. You're also welcome to step away from the table and/or stop any content you're uncomfortable with, no questions asked. Trigger warnings: Family drama, possible physical violence, emotional duress, possible romance, Player Character vs. Player Character conflict. Note: Because this game is so full of make-belief passions, there will be a zero-tolerance policy concerning forced romance, discrimination based on race, gender or sexual orientation.

The Goblings
whimsical D&D 5th edition

"Alright, listen up miserable slime wads! Ya just came from the nest and yer what we call goblings. To be considered a real goblin, ya gotta impress our queen with a glorious gift!" What is this game? In The Goblings, you’ll take on the role of freshly spawned, mostly formed goblins, known in the nest as goblings. Together with 3 other gobling friends, you’ll be given your first assignment: Explore the nearby forest at night, gather materials, and craft a gift to delight the Goblin Queen by sunrise. What can you expect? A slimy, silly and creative adventure! This game is designed for use with D&D 5e, but you don't need to be familiar with the system. No prep required, you can choose and customize your gobling from one of the premade characters. As newborn goblings you'll be playing at level one, so we'll keep it rules-light with emphasis on your whimsical and witty quest to impress your green ruler. Safety There's an open-door policy and we will use the X-card and Lines & Veils tools to keep things inclusive, safe and fun for everyone. Content warning: goblins are gross and love all things gross... but we'll keep it on the side of goofy.

The Sablewood Messengers - Daggerheart Quickstart “Marlowe Fairwind, the right-hand sorcerer of King Emeris, has gathered her most trusted allies to carry an important package to Hush, a small village within the ancient forest of Sablewood. The crate is large, heavy and sealed with magic, addressed to the Whitefire Arcanist. You’ve been given a map and a carriage, and the promise of reward upon your arrival.” I was a bit skeptical about the game at first, but after giving it a proper read I'm now quite interested to see what makes this one tick! We'll be using pre-made characters for this game. Content warning: fantasy violence
